Prime Video Scores 5-Streamer Bundle

Jumping into the ever busier streaming bundling business, Amazon Prime Video has announced its first five-service streaming bundle.

The package consists of Prime Video and niche streaming platforms -- AMC+, BritBox, MGM+, PBS Masterpiece and Starz -- for $29.99 a month.

The bundle is available on Prime Video in the U.S. and offers a savings of nearly 39% versus subscribing to each service individually.

A representative said all streamers participating in the bundle are with their ad-free options.

Looking at deals made among partnerships between streaming platforms, recent streaming ad-supported bundles include: Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max ($19.99 a month), which started up in July 2024. Launching in October 2025, was Apple TV and Peacock Premium (with ads) for $17.99 a month.

In addition, there are a number of broadband/communication providers -- including Verizon, T-Mobile, DirectTV, Xfinity, Spectrum -- that have many bundling packages of streaming platforms.

There are few estimates as to which part of the overall streaming subscription business comes from bundling and their retention performances for consumers.

However, data from the subscription researcher Antenna has said there were 2.2 million active subscriptions for the Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max bundle in February 2025.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Antenna also said that around 10% of all Disney+ and Hulu subscriptions came from the Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max bundle.

The bundle represents 21% of all subscriptions for HBO Max.

Antenna also said there was a 80% three-month “retention” rate for this bundle (July-September 2024) which outperformed individual subscriptions for Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and HBO Max.
