The agency is tasked with
doing a marketing makeover for the area, including developing the audience and media strategy to grow its tourism. A new ad campaign is scheduled to drop next spring.
Nestled in Oregon’s
Willamette Valley, Corvallis is home to Oregon State University.
In 2025, overnight visitors generated an estimated $162.3 million for Benton County, supporting approximately 1,870 jobs and
delivering $9.4 million in tax relief to residents, according to The Economic Impact of Travel in Oregon, prepared by Dean Runyan Associates.
"We’ve never had a shortage of great stories to
tell about Corvallis, but we haven’t always had a clear thread connecting them,” said Christina Rehklau, executive director of Visit Corvallis. “Spark helped us bring those pieces
together into a clear, cohesive story about what makes Corvallis distinctive and why it’s worth discovering.
The agency is a travel and tourism specialist with clients including Visit
Lauderdale, Visit Baltimore, Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Norwegian Cruise Line among others.
