WPP’s Wunderman has tapped Lincoln Bjorkman as global chief creative officer.
Bjorkman, formerly CCO, North America, Digitas, where he had been since 2004, will begin November 11th and will report to Wunderman chairman and CEO Daniel Morel.
Bjorkman will oversee the creative efforts of 60 offices in 170 countries for clients including Coke, Shell, Land Rover, Microsoft, Nokia, and Dell, among others.
Bjorkman is only the second global creative director in Wunderman’s history. London’s Steve Harrison first served in the role (2006-2007).
Bjorkman, 48, also becomes a member of Wunderman's executive board. Prior to Digitas, Bjorkman was at Brand Buzz (1999-2004) a unit of Y&R Brands.
This is Bjorkman’s second turn at Wunderman, where he served as group creative director (1997-1999).
