Cheil Worldwide continues to build its offerings and presence across the globe by aligning with
tech platform Appboy to enable Cheil clients to access Appboy's mobile marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
Appboy's clients will be able to tap into
Cheil's strategy, creative and analytics capabilities, as well as its expertise within the Asia-Pacific region.
Appboy is Cheil’s sole mobile CRM technology partner.
Appboy will continue to pursue strategic agency partnerships, such as recent relationships with Konrad Group in Canada and VMBC.
Shared clients helped to bring about this
alliance.
“More than ever, it’s important to consistently engage mobile app users through various marketing campaigns and we strive to offer best-in-class services and
technologies to help our clients achieve their goals,” stated Peter Kim, Chief Digital Officer, Cheil Worldwide. “As our technology partner of choice in mobile CRM, Appboy
extends our technology capabilities, and we can now offer access to a platform that not only enhances global mobile marketing campaigns, but also automates the processes and increases engagement
levels.”

Initially, the two companies will concentrate on Asia. This region's mobile app usage grew 77% within the past year making it one of the fastest growing mobile
markets. Plus, Mobile apps generated the most revenue in Japan, South Korea and the U.S. in 2014, highlighting the need for mobile marketing automation and CRM services among Cheil’s
clients.
Later, the partnership will expand internationally, boosted by Cheil’s global focus and Appboy’s ability to translate messaging into over 1,000 languages.
The partnership comes on the heels of Appboy’s announcement that it will provide customer support for Android push notifications in China through Baidu Cloud Push.
