Omnigo -- the New York-based sports and entertainment digital services firm used by some major sports franchises for their Web sites, apps and other digital requirements -- and the Swiss-based Infront Sports & Media -- a major international sports marketing company -- have announced a strategic partnership earlier this week at the Leaders Spot Business Summit in London.
The partnership means the two firms will collaborate on digital solutions and consulting on a wider basis, twinning Omnigon’s tech skills with Infront’s marketing expertise. The primary focus will be on rights holders, and supplying and supporting media companies and sponsors. Infront says it helps deliver 4,000 “event days” in 13 countries for various sports, media and entertainment clients every year. Omnigon consults about and develops social and mobile platforms and clients include NASCAR, PGA Tour, USGA, Fox Sports and Fox Broadcasting and World Rugby, AS Roma and Arsenal FC.
