Shortcut Media Launches App Growth Engine

Shortcut Media, an app-growth engine that has been operating in stealth for the past year, announced the availability of its platform today. The solution will allow mobile developers and marketers to identify customers, as well as drive engagement, user retention and virality.

The company claims it will use artificial intelligence (AI) in the analysis of data and will be able to enable features, such as automated push notifications to increase retention; better user targeting for paid marketing; and user profiling and bench-marking (after they’ve built out their data base a little more).

"We aren't simply giving our customers a tool for incremental results; we are measurably growing their businesses with insights that will drive growth and, ultimately, their bottom line,” stated Herbert Bay, co-founder and CEO of Shortcut Media.

Last week, Apple’s App Store experienced several malfunctions that cost developers a lot of money almost solely from poor placement within the App Store. High placement and easy viewability are paramount for small-scale developers looking to build a potential audience.

Larger developers tend to focus on retaining the customers they have and identifying the most lucrative potential customers as well.

"App developers and marketers who allow intelligent data to influence their strategic direction will come out ahead of the competition,” stated Bay.

The company already counts Vivino, ZenFriend, Cardu and Spent app among its customers, and boasts engagement and retention increases of two times the industry standard, as per a statement.
