Factual, a location data firm, announced on Wednesday plans to expand in Europe and provide additional regional support for international partners. As part of the expansion plan, Factual has appointed Mandeep Mason as managing director, Europe.
Mason will also be responsible for expanding Factual’s London footprint, where it opened an office in 2016.
Mason’s most recent position was as general manager of PlaceIQ in Europe. Prior to that he served as the international director for mobile advertising sales & strategy at Microsoft.
Throughout Europe, Factual’s data includes 22 countries covering over 45 million places, with location data updated in real time. Factual offers products and data through Global Places and Geopulse.
Firms including Apple, Facebook and Uber use these products and data, as well as ad-tech companies like DoubleClick, The Trade Desk, MediaMath, Adelphic, AppNexus, Sizmek and TubeMogul.
