TuneIn and Esurance announced a partnership that includes presenting sponsorship rights of TuneIn's original MLB show MLB on TuneIn LIVE through the month of June.
Returning for its second season, MLB on TuneIn LIVE is TuneIn's original MLB show of record, providing listeners with drop-ins from local radio coverage of in-progress MLB games, plus postgame interviews and analyses.
The show hits the road for coverage of spring training from Arizona March 18-24. Over seven days, the crew will bring listeners on-site coverage and analysis of seven spring training matchups including an Indians-Cubs World Series rematch March 24 from Sloan Park.
Programming from spring training each day will include a pregame edition of MLB on TuneIn LIVE, Presented by Esurance airing 11 a.m to 1 p.m. ET, and a postgame installment from 7 to 9 p.m. ET.
“Now in the third year of our partnership, Esurance and MLB have brought fans a more modern baseball experience, and we're always looking for new ways to reach and engage those fans,” said Nancy Abraham, Esurance vice president of integrated marketing communications, in a release.
The expansion of the partnership with the addition of TuneIn will introduce millions more listeners to the brand, she says.
In addition to the presenting sponsorship of MLB on TuneIn LIVE, the partnership with Esurance will also be visible through in-show segment "Best Saves Of The Week,” highlighting the best saves from pitches and players across the MLB, plus co-branded elements across social media and in-app integration.
