New Engen Offers Cross-Channel Ad Performance Platform

New Engen, a technology company founded by former zulily executives, has rolled out a cross-channel digital advertising platform.

The cloud-based technology is being used by 1-800-Flowers, The Hershey Company, TUMI, Timbuk2, FanDuel, and Universal Music Group, the firm says.

Utilizing AI, the product is designed to improve spend efficiency across all digital channels. It works with such digital platforms as Facebook, Google, Instagram, YouTube, Bing, Snap, Display, and Amazon, the company says.

The software does not yet have an email automation feature, but that could be added in the future. Meanwhile, the company says it can advise clients on email strategy.

New Enein says it refrains from using third-party data, allowing it to comply with privacy laws such as the one recently passed in California.

The software is intended to help marketers “build and execute campaigns,” and test at a rapid pace, states Dave Atchison, co-founder and CEO of New Engen.

Amit Shah, CMO at 1-800-Flowers, states that the product allows his firm to “test, refine and optimize based on thousands of combinations of variables to target customers.”

The technology went into beta in 2016. The  company currently has 125 employees, and has opened a new office in New York. It also has offices in San Francisco, Dallas, and Charlotte.
