An augmented reality beauty experience has been created by Perfect Corp. and fashion house Flying Solo NYC using the YouCam makeup app for New York Fashion Week.

Two different looks, one featuring unique airbrush accents along and another throwback looks from past runway shows, are included. Both looks have been coded into YouCam Makeup for an instant, virtual try-on using true-to-life augmented reality and artificial intelligence technology for a personalized experience.

“It’s an exciting time to be able to elevate traditional fashion week content coverage to a new level and give fashion fans the chance to try the stunning runway looks instantly from their mobile phones,” stated Alice Chang, Perfect Corp. founder and CEO.”

In addition to virtual try-ons, YouCam and Flying Solo live streamed a beauty special, showcasing behind-the-scenes beauty coverage.
