As part of its sponsorship agreement with Major League Baseball, Google will have its digital assistant as the presenting sponsor of the 2018 American and National League Championship Series.
As a result, Google’s smart agent Google Assistant will be featured in integrations across platforms including the MLB Network and MLB.com. Google and MLB will jointly create original programming, to show how baseball fans can use Google Assistant anywhere, whether at home or on the move.
"Baseball fans everywhere can tap the Google Assistant to quickly and conveniently stay up-to-date on their favorite teams, players, and games, just by using their voice," stated Flavia Simon, director of brand and growth, Google Assistant. "This partnership will further elevate the Assistant's value amongst MLB's fanbase."
The Assistant can be used via Android phones and Google’s line of smart speakers.
