DEFINITION 6 Joins Dawn Group Of Agencies

DEFINITION 6 (D6), an agency that sends over 2.5 billion emails a year for clients, has become part of the Dawn portfolio of independent creative agencies.

D6 will collaborate with other shops in the group, including Pereira O’Dell, Main Street One, SDL and Dirt.

The combined focus will be on data and analytics, states Bob Kantor, who formed Dawn earlier this year in partnership with Crossmedia, a communications planning and media services agency, and serves as CEO.

Redbox, a data-science and advanced analytics group, is also a partner in Dawn.

D6, based in Atlanta and New York, employs a variety of technologies in a platform-agnostic way to create omnichannel experiences, it says.

It also leverages performance data to drive “predicable and measured business results” across all verticals and channels, states Jason Rockman, president of D6 and Crossmedia.

D6’s clients include AMC Networks, Barnes & Noble Education, CBS Sports, Floor & Decor, Nickelodeon, Novelis, Siemens and the University of Phoenix.

The agency helps firms with technology consulting and implementation, content creation, on-air promos, branded content, marketing automation, CRM and omnichannel planning and execution, it says.

Dawn plans to several other agencies to its portfolio, including some focused on advertising, public relations, experiential marketing and commerce.
