Kinesso, Interpublic's new Acxiom-powered precision targeting and optimization company, has established a digital responsibility practice and has hired Sheila Colclasure to run it.
Her precise title is Chief Digital Responsibility and Public Policy Officer.
According to IPG's Colclasure, her team will focus on issues related to data use, governance and emerging technologies and “how brands should be ethical stewards of consumer data.” In part, the new practice is designed to reinforce the firm’s trustworthiness as a partner.
Colclasure is well versed in the field.
She joins Kinesso from LiveRamp, where she led public policy. She had previously spent more than 20 years at Acxiom — which IPG bought in 2018 for $2.3 billion — where she was Global Chief Data Ethics and Public Policy Officer.
LiveRamp had been a business unit of Acxiom, but was not part of the IPG transaction.
