Namogoo Broadens Ecommerce Offering With Purchase Of Personali

Namogoo, an Israel-based firm that helps brands prevent hijacking of customers, has acquired Personali, a provider of AI-powered behavioral analytics tools. Terms were not disclosed.

The purchase, Namogoo’s first of this type, will allow the firm to enhance its offerings for ecommerce clients.

Namogoo aims to “bring new and existing customers a wider range of effective tools and services to help optimize their customer experience, boost conversion rates and sales, and fuel growth,” states Chemi Katz, Namogoo CEO and co-founder of Namogoo.

Personali’s staff will remain in place, Namogoo says.

Namogoo offers a client-side platform that it says prevents unauthorized ad injections from hijacking online customers to competitors. The company recently raised $40 million in a Series C funding round.

Personali, founded in 2011 with $15 million in funding, helps brands offer personalized discounts at strategic points in the customer journey, the company says. The firm has offices in Tel Aviv, Paris, New York and Sao Paulo.
