SmarterHQ has introduce a product called Store Product Alerts that it says will allow retailers to send automated alerts about inventory availability.
Store Product Alerts provides consumers with messages about Buy Online, Pick-Up In-Store and curbside pick-up programs based on product availability at nearby stores.
The messages can be send via automated email marketing or push notifications that references or shows an image of the product in stock.
Retail marketers can use Store Product Alerts to “alert shoppers of inventory availability at their preferred store on an item they had previously browsed online, allowing shoppers to select items before they’re out of stock so they can then pick them up at their favorite local store in a safe and efficient way,” states Michael Osborne, president and CEO of SmarterHQ.
This, Osborne adds, “will be perfect for those last minute holiday shoppers.”
Retailers are “prioritizing their efforts around curbside pick-up and BOPIS” in response to concern about crowded public spaces an shipping times taking longer,” Osborne continues.
In May, SmarterHQ launched Smarter Predictions.
a tool that allows brands to leverage predictive marketing across all data sources and digital channels.
Smarter Predictions connects behavioral data from web, mobile app, offline/in-store and other sources, to fuel automated campaigns via email, web, mobile push and ad channels, the company says.
