SAP SE, a provider of enterprise application software, has completed its acquisition of Emarsys, an omnichannel customer engagement platform.
The purchase was announced early in October. Terms were not disclosed.
Emarsys products will be added to the SAP Customer Experience portfolio.
The combined services will help brands achieve hyper-personalized customer engagements across channels, while linking commerce signals with the back office, the company says.
The goal is to create “a product portfolio that is more than the sum of its parts,” states Bob Stutz, president, SAP Customer Experience.
Based in Indianapolis, Emarsys is a cloud-based marketing platform. that helps brands deliver personalized interactions via email, mobile, social, SMS and the web.
The company serves 1,500 customers around the globe, including several retail brands.
