Payment technology firm InComm is partnering with Mastercard to allow consumers to send Mastercard gift cards by email and postal mail. 

A new website, MastercardGiftCard.com, will facilitate the sending of digital gift cards to the recipient’s email, while offering a mobile wallet option for payment, InComm says. 

Gift-givers can chose from design options and customized delivery choices, it adds. The gift cards include a reindeer motif, one saying “Congrats” and others stating “Thank you.”  In addition, there is a Holly Jolly card.  

The gift cards can be paid for by mobile wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. 

In addition, recipients can use Click to Pay, a one-click checkout tool, to order their gifts from 10,000-plus merchants, InComm says.

The new ecommerce site is the only one devoted exclusively to Mastercard gift cards, the company says.

"Gift cards have become especially convenient in the era of social distancing, as consumers can easily gift them or help out family and friends with the gift of choice," states Stefan Happ, president of InComm Payments.
