
Amazon has hired Jamia Bigalow as head of
partner marketing for its Entertainment Devices and Services division.
Bigalow will support joint marketing efforts between Amazon and content providers such as Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max
and Discovery Plus across streaming video, gaming, music and education for Amazon’s line of entertainment devices, including Fire TV and Fire tablets.
She will also oversee brand
building for Fire TV, which has more than 50 million active users worldwide.
Bigalow was most recently senior vice president of distribution marketing at Fox Networks.
During her eight years with Fox, she oversaw marketing strategies to support linear and OTT
distribution for channels including Fox, FX, National Geographic, Fox Sports and Fox News. She also oversaw marketing efforts around retransmission consent and channel carriage agreements.
Bigalow’s previous experience included serving as director of affiliate marketing for the NFL Network for its launch, as director of affiliate marketing at Disney, and as a marketing manager
at Starz.
