Casted, an audio and video podcast tool for B2B marketers, has raised $7 million in Series A funding.
The round was led by Revolution Ventures, with participation by current investors High Alpha Capital, Elevate Ventures, and Tappan Hill Ventures.
The new funding will be used to expand the team and pursue new integrations and partnerships.
Casted’s software enables B2B brands to publish content across channels, distribution, and to access a searchable content archive. It integrates with HubSpot, WordPress, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, and Drift.
The firm seeks to help marketers “prioritize audiences over algorithms by starting with the rich audio and video content audiences want, then using it to fuel all other channels,” says Casted CEO Lindsay Tjepkema.
Casted serves such customers as PayPal, HubSpot, Drift, and ZoomInfo, and its platform is the system of record for Salesforce’s 25+ podcasting shows worldwide.
