Campaign Monitor Integrates With Salesforce CRM

Email technology company Campaign Monitor has launched an app that links its clients with their Salesforce data, triggers transactional emails and creates dashboards, the company announced on Sunday.

The new app, Campaign Monitor for Salesforce, is the result of an integration built by Beaufort 12 Limited. It is available through the Salesforce AppExchange.

The integration allows Campaign Monitor customers to be agile in creating campaigns without requiring technical resources, the company says.

In addition, it eliminates manual downloading and uploading and building lists, it says. The Salesforce email integration also supports segmentation and transactional capabilities.

Moreover, the integration is a native Salesforce application built on the force.com platform, Campaign Monitor continues.

One user is the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Thanks to the integration, “we’re able to have real-time data syncing," something that was not possible before, says Alexandra Dobbing, director of fundraising and development at Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. “This is really important because we’re able to send welcome emails in a timely manner and keep our subscriber data up-to-date.”

Another user is MS Limited. Prior to the integration, “our IT department had to prepare the data required for each send,” says Amy Mulder, communications coordinator at MS Limited. “The process could take a week." Now, she says the company has access to "all the data in Campaign Monitor ready to go.”

The integration combines ”these two important technologies into a single workflow,” concludes Ros Hodgekiss, customer experience programs manager at Campaign Monitor, a CM Group company.
