Havas' Cannes Cafe Goes Virtual, But Offers Real-World Hospitality Too

The Cannes Lions may be 100% virtual this year, but that isn't stopping Havas from offering its trademark hospitality during the annual advertising industry confab.

While the agency won't be offering attendees the opportunity to stop in for a cold drink or a nosh along the Croisette, it nonetheless is hosting a virtual version of the Havas Cafe with some real-world hospitality, courtesy of Uber Eats.

Each day of this week's Lions festival, the Havas Media Group will give a €10 promo to the first 100 people who connect to the virtual cafe's site.

And according to an agency spokesperson, there are also opportunities for virtual attendees to schmooze and network via the cafe, just as they normally would in person.
