DPAA Annual Summit To Be Based In Actual Place, Not Digitally

The Digital Place-Based Advertising Association (DPAA) today announced its annual “Video Everywhere Summit” will be held 100% live and in-person on Oct. 12.

The event, which will feature a range of keynotes, interviews and panel discussions, will take place at Pier 60 on the Chelsea Piers in New York City.

The DPAA’s last Video Everywhere Summit was held virtually on Oct. 13-15, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While many industry events still have plans for so-called “hybrid” events mixing virtual and in-person meetings, DPAA President and CEO Barry Frey noted: “Regions are opening up and it’s time for us to all reconnect in-person.”

“After careful consideration and talking with members, brand and agency leadership we decided to hold this year’s summit in-person as our community needs to reconnect in person.”

While a formal agenda has not been set, the summit is expected to focus on how brands engage with consumers in an "omnichannel" world and the growing role of digital out-of-home.
