Marketing automation provider Sailthru has formed an integration with Segment, a customer data platform.
With the integration, Sailthru customers can connect a single user across channels, tying email engagement, page views and mobile app views to the same person, Sailthru says.
In addition, they can combine all customer touchpoints -- including a POS system -- into a single customer view, the company says.Users can also combine mobile data with email engagement.
The bi-directional integration combines Sailthru’s personalized marketing capabilities with Segment’s customer data layer, bringing clients “closer to a unified strategy,” states Allison Stone, vice president of product management at Sailthru.
Another reported benefit is speed.
"The customer data platforms I’ve integrated in the past took at least six months,” states Kaleigh Clement, Director of CRM at Raise. “With Sailthru, the Segment integration took two days, and it's been seamless to use.”
