Magnite and FreeWheel rank first and second in North American market share among open programmatic connected TV (CTV) advertising suppliers, according to Pixalate’s latest rankings of supply-side platforms (SSPs).
The global rankings estimate SSPs’ market shares for mobile (the Google and Apple app stores) as well as CTV (Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices) as of July, including breakdowns by region.
For CTV on Roku devices in North America, the top three SSPs by market share are Magnite (34%), FreeWheel (17%) and Xandr Monetize (10%). program
For CTV on Amazon Fire TV devices in North America, the top three by share are Magnite (54%), FreeWheel (11%) and Google AdExchange (5%), which had the largest share gain.
In mobile, the top five SSPs for Google Play in North America are unchanged since the last rankings, in April.
The top three: BidSwitch (now with a 20% share), InMobi and LoopMe (each with 8%).
In the Apple App Store in North America, InMobi leads with a 9% share, Moloco is No. 2 at 7% (its first move into the Apple store 10), and Google AdExchange is third with 6%.
