Luna Market Rebrands To Insomnia Labs To Guide Brands Through Metaverse, Web3

On Wednesday, metaverse advertising agency Luna Market rebranded to Insomnia Labs, a Web3 advertising and technology company focused on bringing major brands –– like Under Armour, Curry Brand, and L’Oreal –– into the metaverse.

The organization provides a full suite of advertising and technology services to help brands launch fully digital campaigns in emerging virtual spaces.

As Luna Market, the company mainly focused on building non-fungible tokens (NFTs) like the Genesis Curry Flow virtual sneaker made in honor of Stephen Curry breaking the NBA three-point record, which recently received multiple awards at the New York Festivals Advertising Awards and Cannes Lions.

Insomnia Labs, however, is focused on expanding its offerings to help brands thrive in the evolving metaverse.

According to a recent statement, the company plans to include decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), “Web3 native strategies, creative, data, and measurement to deliver fully immersive, culturally relevant branded metaverse campaigns.”

One example of Insomnia Labs’ expanded focus is its work with L’Oreal, for which it launched the world’s first beauty DAO, in which a community of 3D artists work together to increase aptitude around digital make-up.

“Web3 is a new world to many brands and it’s our job to help best position brands in Web3 using the latest technologies,” says Jack Cameron, co-founder of Insomnia Labs.

“As we look towards the future, our goal with this rebrand is to focus on helping brands navigate the world of Web3 through long-term strategies with the latest technologies in the space,” Cameron added.

Insomnia Labs recently received a $1.5 million investment from Web3 and metaverse-centric partners including Polygon, Animoca Brands, Eden Ventures, HBJ Investments, and Concept Art House.
