Census Offers GDPR Compliance Service

Census, a reverse ETL platform, is now being hosted on Amazon Web Services eu-central-1 in Frankfurt, enabling European clients to comply with the GDPR.

This will allow customers to keep all their data within EU borders, including all Census data workflows.

"By adding an EU-based server, we help European customers ensure their data remains compliant with GDPR's data residency regulations," says Boris Jabes, CEO of Census.

Jabes adds that the company  never store your data to provide our service.”

The company’s ETL (extract, transfer, and load) tool enables data teams to validate and publish analytics directly into all their applications in real time, it claims.

Brands can use Census to sync customer attributes from data sources into customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platforms, it says.

Census says it follows best practices encryption for data in transit and data at rest. Its census data procedures meet or exceed all compliance requirements in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and SOC2 Type II certifications.
