Canadian Firm Vendasta Acquires Boston Tech Company Yesware

Vendasta, a privately held Canadian company, has acquired Yesware, a private Boston-based firm that offers tools for sales teams to track email outreach activity. Terms were not disclosed.

Yesware, founded in 2010, is headed by CEO Joel Stevenson.

Prior to his tenure at Yesware, Stevenson founded Wayfair's B2B division and brought it to $400 million in annual revenue.

“Yesware and Vendasta are complementary businesses,” says Vendasta CEO Brendan King. “There is meaningful alignment on every front, from core values, mission, vision, technology, culture and go-to-market capabilities.

“Having worked closely with Vendasta for many years as one of our customers, I can confidently say that we share a vision to democratize technology for local businesses,” Stevenson says.

Yesware's sales-enablement technology includes email tracking and campaign management.
