Ketel One Brings Cinematic Edge To New Global Campaign

Ketel One's new global ad campaign, Born To Cocktail, is a cinematic experience directed by filmmaker Daniel Wolfe and is inspired by its “cocktail-driven legacy,” according to the Dutch vodka brand.

Developed in partnership with creative partners Alto, Born To Cocktail is intended to capture a spirited cast of worldly individuals as they explore vodka-based cocktail culture in specific situations, such as drinking a waterside Bloody Mary or an after-after party espresso martini.

The locations filmed for the campaign aim to take the viewer on immersive and entertaining journeys that evoke a specific time and place and end with a particular cocktail “that punctuates the moment,” the company said in a recent release.

With its cinematic edge, the campaign hopes to encourage consumers to elevate their cocktail experience by celebrating spirits aficionados, setting, and the brand's product.

Director Daniel Wolfe’s previous work includes commercials (Guinness' “Paint The Town Black”), music videos (Duffy's “Mercy”,Paolo Nutini's “Iron Sky”) and long-form films (“Catch Me Daddy”).

Born to Cocktail will begin rolling out the week of January 15th on digital and streaming platforms, such as Hulu, Paramount+, ABC, and CBS.
