Klaviyo has formed an integration with cloud-based commerce platform commercetools, allowing users of both to connect the tools from both companies and drive personalized B2C communications.
The integration syncs real-time and historical data from commercetools Composable Commerce into Klaviyo. This provides access to customer, product, and order records, and allows users to provide a single source of truth for every customer, Klaviyo says.
With profile and event data combined in a single system-of-record, marketers can engage customers across email, SMS and push, the company adds.
The integration features an open-source connector that contains the code, logic, and instructions needed for deploying a solution on the cloud of the user’s choice, the company says. The goal is to help firms “connect and utilize their customer data, and see results,” says Rich Gardner, senior vice president of global strategic partnerships at Klaviyo.
Gardner notes that building custom integrations normal requires “extensive development resources and time.”
