Bank On It: AKQA Named Chime's Integrated Marketing Agency

Banking app Chime has selected AKQA as its integrated marketing agency. There was no formal pitch.

Founded in 2012, Chime helps those who are struggling financially and can't always rely on traditional banks. Now, it's looking for more visibility in the industry. The app, a community-driven brand, has almost 1 million Instagram followers.

Chime sees itself as an innovative company. For example, it introduced features like fee-free banking.

New work with the agency is expected later this year or early in 2024.

AKQA's client work includes Coca-Cola, Nike, Planetary Guardians and NotCo.
