Paramount+ has confirmed that it will run a new ad
during Super Bowl LVIII, and has previewed another new ad to be aired during this Sunday’s NFL Wild Card game on CBS.
The ads are the 14th and 15th in the “A
Mountain of Entertainment” campaign created for Paramount+ by Droga5. The ads convey the breadth of Paramount’s popular content via unlikely pairings of characters from diverse franchises
in humorous scenarios.
Paramount+, which will stream Super Bowl LVIII simultaneously with the game’s broadcasting on Paramount Global properties CBS, Nickelodeon and Univision, is not
yet releasing its Super Bowl ad.
But the streaming service today posted a new 60-second ad (below) that will air during the match between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers game on CBS
on Jan. 14.

That ad features the character Decepticon Scourge from “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” voiced by Peter Dinklage, attempting to face off against Buffalo Bills
quarterback Josh Allen, along with characters from Paramount properties such as “Dora the Explorer” and “Peppa Pig.”
NFL on CBS announcers Tracy Wolfson, Jim Nantz and
Tony Romo are shown commenting on the Scourge character’s failed attempts at offense.
