Media agency Croud has announced a new C-Suite post. It has named Frederick Stallings as its first chief data officer.
He reports to chief strategy officer Avinash Kaushik and is based in New York.
Previously, Stallings served as chief data officer at creative agency FIG. Prior to FIG, he was chief data & analytics officer at PHD (Omnicom) for five years, where he led Carnival Cruises, Delta, SCJ and VW Group.
“Rick's proven expertise in leveraging data to drive transformative business impact will accelerate the next generation of solutions across Croud's full-spectrum analytics services," said Kaushik.
Croud has made a series of strategic acquisitions in the data and consultancy areas. In recent years, the agency acquired VERB Brands, impakt Advisors, Metageni and, most recently, Vert, in Atlanta. Dani Jordan was selected as its first chief marketing and integration officer earlier this year.
The additions are seen as critical to winning the Chime and Nespresso accounts.
Stallings said: "Croud's reputation as a leader in advanced analytics and strategic data services was a major draw for me.”
Croud has partnered with leading global brands, including Audible, Vans, IWG and AllSaints.
