The Doctor In The Inbox: How Small Healthcare Practices Can Use Email

Payments platform Weave has debuted an enhanced email marketing tool for use by small and medium-sized health-care businesses with limited marketing staff.

The goal is to help small practices “connect with their patients and clients in meaningful ways, while maintaining a professional brand presence," says Branden Neish, chief product and technology officer of Weave.

Users can deploy a library of templates, free stock images, and features such as custom HTML/CSS, and dynamic content fields, the company says. 

Moreover, practices can send personalized emails their trusted practice domain.

According to Weave, the platform provides these features:

- A customized domain that it says will aid deliverability and brand recognition. 

- Email Composer, a drag-and-drop interface incorporating dynamic fields, file attachments, and embedded digital forms.

- A library of templates and stock images.

- A generative AI assistant for creating email campaigns tailored to the needs of the practice, special offers, including promotions and holiday greetings.

- Audience Segmentation and Filters that can help the practice refine its email lists. 

- Multi-location campaign management facilitated by a single user interface.

- A Campaign Dashboard that tracks open rates, clicks, and unsubscribes while providing a summary screen for campaign performance.

Neish says the upgraded tool with its range of features “gives users greater flexibility and control over their campaigns.”
