Bread & Butter Wines Pours Argonaut Into Creative AOR Role


Bread & Butter Wines operates on a simple premise: Leave the complexity to us. It's tag: "Don't overthink it."

The Napa, California, winery wants Argonaut to extend that vision as its creative and social AOR. It is charged with developing a brand omnichannel strategy and campaign to position Bread & Butter as a premium go-to wine brand.

First work begins in May with key assets slated for September.

Patrick Cramb, vice president, marketing at Bread & Butter Wines, said: “Argonaut understands our philosophy and supports our passion for making wine approachable, while maintaining a premium experience.”

Crafted by award-winning winemaker Linda Trotta, Bread & Butter Wines' portfolio includes everyday wines and a cellar collection, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Prosecco.

Trotta was introduced to wine as child — her grandfather set up a winery/cellar in his Burbank garage.

“We’ve been inspired by the quote from Linda Trotta: ‘A good wine is a wine you like,' ” added Katie Miller, president of Argonaut. “It’s such a relatable truth that goes well beyond the wine category.”
