Reese Witherspoon Touts Parisian Fun With Wells Fargo Journey Card

Reese Witherspoon is ready to experience Paris. That's the premise behind her latest spot for Wells Fargo, which promotes the Autograph Journey credit card. This round, the actress announces she's finally going to see the city's sites, instead of just working there

Taika Waititi directed the 15-second and 30-second ads, which are set in Paris.

In the current ad, with creative by BBDO, Witherspoon discovers the food, museums, lawn bowling and shopping in the City of Lights.

“Reese represents something we all recognize — the way work can turn travel into a blur. You’re moving from one place to the next without really being in any of them. With the Autograph Journey Card, the idea is to shift that perspective. It gives her — and all of us — a reason to slow down, rediscover the moment, and experience a place like it’s the first time,” said Greg Ketchum, ECD BBDO New York.

Witherspoon's London spot for the bank debuted last fall, using global destinations to underscore the credit card’s many rewards.

“In this next phase, we’re continuing to invite people to lean into curiosity, explore the world around them, and enjoy the journey just as much as the destination,” added Marcia Osborne, CMO, consumer banking and lending marketing, Wells Fargo.

The Oscar-winning actress co-stars with Jennifer Aniston on "The Morning Show” on Apple TV, now in its fourth season.

BBDO creative includes AT&T, Volkswagen/Netflix, GE and UN Women.
