Publicis Groupe has acquired Costa Rican production company Bosz Digital for an undisclosed sum. The holding company also said Tuesday that it is in the process of acquiring a sister production
shop, Bosz Digital Columbia. That deal will close after the agreement is approved by Columbian regulators. The firms are being acquired from The Tribu Group based in Costa Rica.
The
acquisitions will become part of Publicis Groupe’s Production Platforms operation, an expanding integrated cross-media content development and delivery platform with locations at about 20 sites
in Europe, North America and Latin America.
According to Jean-Yves Naouri, COO of Publicis Groupe, the holding company intends to “continue expanding a global platform to serve
all key markets of the world.”
The platform is designed to enable global brands to produce ads and other content and deliver it across any channel worldwide. By devising a global
production platform, the holding company believes it can maximize cost efficiency “without compromising creativity.”
The two Bosz digital operations, with a total of 450
staffers, will continue to be overseen by General Manager Jose Coto. He will report to Philip de Zutter, Global Chief Digital Officer of Prodigious and a member of Publicis Groupe’s Production
Platforms’ Executive Committee.
“We’ve worked with Bosz Digital and Bosz Digital Columbia for a long time, and we’re consistently impressed by their high standards,
commitment to innovation and grasp of the newest and smartest technology,” added Naouri.

I presume you meant "Colombia" with an O (the country), instead of "Columbia" with a U (the State).
