Publicis Groupe has acquired Nurun, an independent global design and technology consultancy, from Quebecor Media for 125 million Canadian dollars, or about $114.4 million at the current exchange rate.
The acquired firm has two divisions including Nurun Global, which offers strategy, design, ecommerce and technology services worldwide. Nurun IT Consulting Services has one big client: the Quebec Provincial Government, for which it provides IT outsourcing and system integration services.
Company clients include Adidas, L’Oreal, LVMH, Pirelli, Haier, Pernod-Ricard, Sony, Walmart and Google. It has 11 offices and 1,100 employees worldwide. The firm had about $127 million in revenue last year.

Founded in 2000, The agency will operate under its existing management team with Jacques-Herve Roubert as President and CEO.
Headquartered in Montreal, the firm also has offices in San Francisco, Atlanta, Toronto, Quebec, Madrid, Paris, Nancy, Milan, Turin and Shanghai.
