Amazon Fire Goes On Sale In UK, Germany

Amazon Fire TV is expanding to the United Kingdom and Germany, the online retail giant announced this afternoon, five months after the set-top box went on the market here.

For the first five days, it said, it would be priced at 49 pounds (about $80 US) and for 79 pounds after that (about $130 US). It will ship via Amazon, on Oct 23.

In the U.S., Amazon costs $99.

Amazon said it was simultaneously beginning to offer Fire TV in Germany, although pricing or a ship date were not clear.

One thing that apparently will be clear, however, is Amazon’s voice search function, which gets raves for actually recognizing voice commands.  Amazon Fire users can name a movie, actor, or channel, and reasonably bet the device can understand what was said and then deliver relevant content.

An Amazon spokeswoman said today, “We have optimized voice search for British accents.”

The device is just perfect! The Fire's defining features are fun and they claim it to be available for pre-order the same day. Taking into consideration its high price and exclusivity, customers would better apply for short-term loan no credit check. The company owes its success to millions of loyal online shoppers and bookworms who use Amazon for its convenience and aggressive pricing
