Princess Cruises is partnering with several NFL football teams in hopes of expanding the cruise line's presence in key markets.
The cruise ship is partnering with the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans.
Chicagoans can win a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean, sailing roundtrip from Ft. Lauderdale. The sweepstakes runs through Dec. 31. Fans can enter at princess.com/chicago. Fans will also have access to special cruise deals from Princess Cruises throughout the season.
Princess Cruises sources a large number of guests from Chicago, said Gordon Ho, senior vice president of global marketing for Princess Cruises.
"Not only do Chicagoans have a passion for their home team but our research tells us that Bears fans also have a passion for exploring the world on cruise vacations,” Ho says in a release.
Princess Cruises football fans can catch more of the action than ever before aboard 13 of its ships as the line is showing the most highly watched games the NFL has to offer on its signature “Movies Under the Stars” gigantic screens and throwing a tailgate party each week to celebrate.
Games will be shows every Thursday and Sunday afternoon, as well as Sunday and Monday night. While cruisers are cheering on the team, they can enjoy their favorite game day foods like pizza, burgers and cold beer buckets.
