After an outcry by New York's mayor, the Anti-Defamation League, transit riders and media-trade and New York news Web sites, an Amazon-sponsored promotion on a a New York subway car will be
removed. The Amazon campaign emblazoned a subway car with a Nazi-like insignia and other graphics depicting a version of the Japanese flag. The subway car is promoting Amazon Prime Video's new drama,
"The Man in the High Castle."

originally quoted an MTA spokeswoman explaining Amazon has decided to pull the promotion early because of the controversy
