OpenX Rolls Out Video Header-Bidding Solution

The advertising technology firm OpenX is rolling out a video header-bidding solution, built to take advantage of the open-source Prebid technology.

By incorporating Prebid, publishers that already use it will be able to access OpenX’s exchange and private marketplaces, and publishers that are OpenX clients will have another option to monetize their video Inventory.

The company claims that in beta testing, users of Prebid video with OpenX saw revenue increases of about 55%, and CPMs 35% higher than competitors.

In addition, OpenX will be taking a seat on the board for, and will chair the industry organization’s Video Task Force.
