Vimeo Launches Video Lead-Generation Tool For Use In Email Platforms

Vimeo on Wednesday launched a suite of tools to help marketers generate and convert high-quality leads with video to improve and track performance. 

Customizable contact forms are added to the videos. The forms are synced directly to their preferred email marketing platform to engage recipients in the email with video GIFs from the Vimeo platform. Any lead information collected will automatically sync with existing mailing lists.

Mark Kornfilt, chief product officer at Vimeo, believes the lead-generation solution adds the utility of video to their toolbox, making professional-quality videos available to all.

The integration with launch partners HubSpot, Mailchimp, and Constant Contact, among others allows small businesses to drive results from their email marketing by embedding videos into their email campaigns to create an engaging experience for the reader.

Vimeo’s integration with HubSpot’s CRM platform, for example, enables marketers to generate leads from the videos within the emails. It also allows marketers to explore deeper personalization in their email campaigns as they work to provide customers with dynamic content that converts.

The tools enable marketers to create and customer information through in-video content forms that marketers can customize.

All information is opt-in by the recipient of the email. The marketer selects the information to ask. This also provides the ability to add company logos and messages, determine in-video placement, link out to important privacy policies, and then track impressions and response rates directly within Vimeo analytics to understand what works and what doesn’t.
