TripleLift, a pioneering ad-technology company utilizing computer vision and machine learning to optimize digital creative and media buys, has been acquired by private equity firm Vista Equity Partners.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the companies said Vista acquired a "majority" share of TripleLift for an undisclosed sum.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021, and Eric Berry will remain as CEO and two of TripleLift's early investors -- True Ventures and Edison Partners -- will remain invested in the company.
