Tailwind has debuted an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven copy generation tool for use in email and social channels. 

The new offering, Ghostwriter, was developed following Tailwind's acquisition of Replier.ai in March of this year.

It is designed to help small businesses quickly generate natural-sounding copy for their digital marketing efforts -- including those on Pinterest and Instagram, says Greg Starling, head of strategic partnerships at Tailwind. 

Several Tailwind members have tried Ghostwriter in beta. 

"Writing captions is what I dislike most about marketing my small business, so Tailwind Ghostwriter is amazing, says one member, Gina Clark. "It's far easier for me to tweak something that's been generated for me than it is to come up with something from scratch."

Founded in 2015, Tailwind is backed by Pilot Growth Equity.
