Intermedia Offers Cross-Channel Archiving Tool

Intermedia Cloud Communications has launched an archiving solution that will allow users to store data across business communications channels.

The new product, Unite Archiving, supports search and retrieval across communications channels, including chat, SMS, phone call recordings and voicemails. It was developed following the acquisition of Akazio, a provider of data and information archiving technology, last year.

Unite Archiving joins Intermedia’s Email Archiving tool.

Intermedia says Unite Archiving can help brands achieve compliance with HIPAA, FINRA, and MiFID II and other regulations. Also, it can assist them with finding critical communications, ensuring continuity and maintaining best practices. 

Users can search keywords, chat names, participants, call duration, source, attachments and other attributes.

In addition, brands can choose how long to store their data, with options going as high as 10 years. 

The solution is available to Intermedia clients. 

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest for security, and customers can choose how long to store their data with retention options ranging up to 10 years. When layered with Generative AI, Unite Archiving will enable companies to tap into the collective intelligence of the organization, the firm says.
