Following Meta’s recent acquisition of Manus AI, the company has begun
integrating the autonomous AI agent technology into its Ads Manager, highlighting the tech giant's ongoing push toward AI-powered campaign processes.
“Meta has introduced Manus, a new AI work assistant designed to automate business tasks such as data analysis, report generation,
and more,” writes app researcher Ahmed Ghanem on Threads, citing a screenshot of the introduction
of Manus in Meta’s Ad platform.

advertisers’ “new AI work partner” designed to automate tasks in order to save them time while generating relevant reports and insights.
Meta finalized its purchase of Chinese-owned AI start-up Manus, which is valued at over $2 billion, days before
the start of 2026 -- announcing plans to integrate the company’s proprietary autonomous general-purpose agents directly into its social media and business products.
Since the acquisition, Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated that Manus will play a role in developing consumer-facing AI products, including agentic shopping tools
designed to help consumers discover products from the businesses in Meta’s catalog, as well as Meta premium subscription offerings.
Manus is expected to play a key factor in Meta’s approach to accomplishing its social commerce goals over
the next year, as the company plans to sell the Manus service and integrate it into its next-gen products.
“We’re starting to see the promise of AI that understands our personal context, including our history, our interests, our content and our relationships,” Zuckerberg said
on Meta’s Q4 investor call. “A lot of what makes agents valuable is the unique context that they can see.”
All Meta advertisers are able to
access Manus in the “Tools” listing in Ads Manager, but Ghanem’s screenshot, originally flagged by Social Media Today, shows the company’s attempts to promote the
service, which is being integrated into more of Meta’s systems.
