As Meta continues to invest billions into the development
of superintelligence and AI, the tech giant will begin selling its artificial-intelligence (AI) tools to businesses and developers via its newly founded “Meta Enterprise Platform.”
Winning the AI race may depend on proving a wide array of product utility -- especially with regard to consumer-facing use cases.
With the recent launch of its Muse AI and Meta Business
agents, Meta wants to overtake the market by bringing its full technology stack to small and medium-sized businesses.
Deeming it the “next major pillar” of its business,
Meta's Enterprise Platform will be led by Chirantan “CJ” Desai, ex-CEO and president of MongoDB, a document database, and product and engineering lead at Cloudflare, a cloud platform
designed for improved website functionality.

<p">According to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Desai “has an extensive industry network” the company is interested in partnering with
as it attempts to integrate its AI stack – Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code etc. – into businesses across the globe.
“Over the coming years, AI will
fundamentally redefine how organizations of all sizes innovate, grow, serve customers, and run business operations,” Desai said in a statement, adding that he believes Meta’s possession of
advanced AI models and popular agents will be of interest to companies trying to scale.
Currently, Meta is committed to spending roughly $200 billion a year in capital expenditure on AI development, following an
initial plan to spend over $600 billion in the U.S. alone over three years.
In developing its AI agent ecosystem across its apps and products, Meta reported a free cash flow of $784 million in
the previous quarter, marking a 91% drop year-over-year from $8.55 billion in
Q2 2025.
To ease investor concerns and capitalize on its bullish superintelligence efforts, the company has begun releasing more consumer products that run on its various AI technologies. In
the midst of its major “pervert glasses” fumble, Meta recently announced a new pair of camera-less AI smart glasses, as well as a pair of lightweight VR glasses and the Muse Charm, a pocket-sized keychain housing
user's Muse agent.
Following the announcement of Meta Enterprise Platform, shares of MongoDB sank 16%, while Meta’s stock dropped about 4%.
