Joining other networks to provide marketers and media agencies with more data management tools, Turner Broadcasting is launching Turner Data Cloud.
Turner Data Cloud is a data
management platform (DMP) designed to power digital and linear advertising campaigns across Turner’s entertainment, news, sports and kids brands.
The company says advertisers and media
agencies can choose to transact directly and programmatically for their unique campaign goals and business objectives.
In announcing this new business on the day of Turner’s traditional
TV upfront presentation, Donna Speciale, president of Turner Broadcasting Ad Sales, stated: “We are committed to driving business results for our advertising partners, and producing mechanisms
that continue to allow for a data agnostic approach.”
Turner Data Cloud will allow advertisers to use their first-party data in addition to third-party data to reach audiences across
Turner platforms: television, digital and mobile platforms reaching about 75% of all Americans.
Turner’s new Chief Data Strategist Stephano Kim says: “Turner Data Cloud will now
become Turner’s central repository of data, spanning digital and linear ecosystems.”
