Vibes, a mobile technology company, on Friday announced the integration of its mobile marketing and wallet solutions to IBM’s Universal Behavior Exchange. UBX users will now have greater visibility into mobile data, which will help marketers increase revenues through mobile campaigns that offer customer engagement and data-driven personalization in real-time.
IBM added a new product, Universal Behavior Exchange (UBX), to the IBM Marketing Cloud yesterday in an effort to help marketers manage data.
Now, Vibes is helping IBM harness the power of mobile and email data for effective cross-channel marketing and database management.
Vibes’ mobile marketing management platform leverages mobile wallet solutions such as Apple Wallet or Android Play, push notifications and text messaging to engage consumers through their mobile devices.
The platform will also be integrated with additional IBM Commerce offerings, including IBM Campaign, IBM Digital Insights, IBM Engage Mobile and IBM Marketing Cloud, enabling marketers to leverage email insights and customer profile data from the IBM Marketing Cloud.
The IBM Marketing Cloud is built on Silverpop Engage, an email marketing technology that IBM acquired in 2014.
This is good news for email marketers, which can now more easily connect data across channels and utilize it to create better, more targeted emails, texts and mobile wallet offers.
Potential campaign examples include triggered service-oriented messages such as appointment reminders, and tailored sales-specific messages including mobile coupons and unique links to products that can be saved to Apple Wallet or Android Pay.
Marketers can drive revenue using innovative mobile marketing channels, while also connecting mobile to all other digital marketing events,” states Jack Philbin, co-founder and CEO of Vibes. “UBX is cracking the code on Big Data applied to the marketing cloud.”
