Talon Outdoor, a UK-based independent Out-of-Home (OOH) agency, has expanded to the U.S. in the form of a joint venture with Holt Media. The venture’s first U.S. office has opened in New York.
Irina Zeltser has been appointed managing director and will run the agency’s U.S. arm. James Copley, a founding partner of Talon will be providing support and Ruth Schinn has been hired as director. The agency will continue to build its U.S. staff.
Zeltser joins Talon from OOH firm Project X, part of New York-based ADstruc and Schinn is an OOH veteran who has held senior positions at Posterscope and Kinetic.
“This is an exciting time to be in the industry, with the advent of new digital technologies, audience targeting and measurement capabilities that continue to lift the medium as a whole,” stated Zeltser. “We intend to embrace the ongoing digital transformation in OOH, employing an approach that leverages all of the technological and creative assets at our disposal to smartly deliver the most effective and accountable integrated campaigns for our clients.”
In the UK, the five-year-old Talon has worked with brands including Google, Disney, Sony Pictures and McDonald’s.
